1. Weak Aces in early position are not Gold.
2. Be Patient.
Wait for the right hand, the right position, and the right situation.
3. Don’t be too quick to give up in the hand.
At every point of action ask yourself “How can I win this hand?”
4. Ace-King is not a made hand.
Most of the time before the flop you are in a race situation.
5. Take care of yourself before a session.
Eat, hydrate, and be well rested.
6. Be Observant.
Watch every single thing going on around you especially when you are not in the hand.
7. Play your game.
Play the game you are comfortable with.
8. Take actions to counter feeling intimidated.
If you feel intimidated get glasses,
an ipod (you don’t have to turn it on), or a hat.
9. Practice intentions and actions at home.
Practice speaking, betting, and
facial expressions in a mirror before you play.
Ask yourself if you think your bluffing or not?
10. Forget TV!
Try and forget most of what you
have seen on TV and build your game from your own experience.
